Here I have in stock the Burns Marquee Club Series reissue guitar produced from 1999-2001 in which it was in the national press for winning guitar of the year at the eurpoean awards.
This guitar resembles a strong british identity as was used on the indie rock and roll scene. Graham Coxon from Blur, The kooks, Lilly Allen band the Zootons and the ordinary boys all used various different models of the Burns guitar.
Here is a picture of the Burns marquee i have in stock right now

Its a modern reissue of the original 1960s model and was essentially released as a budget friendly guitar and introduced as a a strong alternative to Fender and Gibson at an attractive price point. Its very unique especially with the scroll headstock which comes across visually striking.
Other models include the burns sonic and the rock guitarist Brian May in which a signature model was manufactured by burns London during mid 2000s – the brian may red special which came equipped with trisonic pickups (also found in some marquees)
Other notable players used them in the 60s such as jimmy page and Hank Marvin from the shadows (1964 – 1970)Hank Marvin used his signature Burns Marvin guitar extensively with The Shadows on TV shows like ready steady go, the top of the pops and the film thunderbirds are go in 1966 showcasing its iconic “space age” look and sound from roughly 1964 until they were stolen around 1970, appearing on many recordings and live performances.
