1977 players grade fender telecaster for sale –  I do my research in to the history of a guitar before buying it but as its nearly 50 years old and vintage the customer is more than welcome to come and try it out before buying

BODY – Fender telecaster standard model in blonde. The body is made of swamp ash and  it has a thick durable polyester finish which contains light surface scratches to back, blemishes on edges and marks throughout but in good overall condition for its age.

NECK – Maple with a thin veneer fretboard. Neck contains the original paint. Fingerboard is rosewood. Original frets which show wear but still have playable life left, contains minor blemishes and dings. Original tuning pegs on the headstock.

Hardware original and good condition. Volume/tone knobs and output jack socket all original

Pots original and dating to 1977, neck dates 1977. Its the original wiring and electrics which are all working. Serial sticker intact on reverse of plate. Switch tip and switch replaced. Replacement Kent Armstrong pickup. Hardware all original and in good condition.

Would get much better tone through a fender valve amp so to make it sing like that through a budget amplifier imagine how powerful and ferocious these pickups can sound plugged in at a gig through a fender valve amp

I got this excellent example of a Gibson ES 355 Lucille from an american guitar dealer and comes with the relevant paperwork and certificate of authentication. This really is a nice one and a bonus if you can make it sing like BB King

SPECS:

Its the distinctive black and gold signature model. Its a 2001 semi hollowbody model with no f holes. The body body is made from maple with maple centre block finished in a black nitrocellulose Laquer. The body contains light surface scratches and blemishes throughout which are non excessive and comensurate with a guitar thats over 25 years old but overall in very good condition for its age.

It features 2 volume controls and 2 tone controls and a 6 way varitone switch and a mono/stereo output jack. The Gold hardware is original and features a gold ABR – 1 Bridge, a TP – 6  tailpiece and the original gold grover tuners. Its equipped with 2 Gibson Humbucker Pickups, 490t and 490r. Its the original electrics and wiring.

Maple neck with ebony fingerboard and no visible scratches to the neck, no previous repairs. Its the original finish on the body and neck and its the original 22 frets frets which have no wear to them and in excellent condition. Playability of this guitar is 100 percent.

Nut width 43.4 mm, scale length 24 inches, weight 4.37 kg, Truss rod fully functional
